About Our Past

The history of O.H. Frewin is a testament to the resilience and dedication of its founders, the late Mr. Oscar Henry Frewin and his son, the late Mr. Jack Frewin, and grandson, Mr. John Frewin. Since its establishment in 1903, the firm has continued to evolve and adapt to changing times and technological advancements.

Under the leadership of the new owners, Mr. Dries Venter and Mr. Gert Goudswaard, who took over in 1999, the company has undergone significant expansion and invested in state-of-the-art machinery for all its different departments. This, combined with the dedication and hard work of the management and employees, has enabled the company to establish a strong reputation and become a major player in the global market.

With the addition of Dries Venter (Jnr) as director in 2008, the future of O.H. Frewin is brighter than ever. The firm continues to invest in modern computerized design and set methods, which have enabled its graphic designers to produce high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations.

The loyalty of the workers is a testament to the company’s commitment to its employees, and the community it serves. The legacy of Oscar Henry Frewin lives on through the company’s dedication to exceptional service and the production of only the best quality printing.

Today, O.H. Frewin Printers is a leading competitor in the global marketplace, and the company is determined to continue to provide exceptional service and quality printing for many more years to come. Its history is one of dedication, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
